First, go to usa.canon.com
Click “Drivers and Downloads” in the upper right corner.
In the search box, type in the model number for your device.
Click “Drivers and Downloads” again, then under “Recommended Printers”, click on the download the begins with the characters “UFRII….”.
The downloaded file will be a zip file. Extract it’s content to your downloads, then open the folder and click on “Setup”
Once the installer is up and running, agree to the license agreement. On the next page, you will see a bunch of options to chose from, select “Custom”.
After that, select the printer you are installing a driver for.
The next page will have a button called “Add Port”, click on that then select “Standard TCP/IP Port”.
Click “Ok,” and then “Next”
Now click “Next” after typing in your IP address
You are now back to the printer information page and from here you can rename your printer to something a little more friendly.
Click “Next” then start the installation process.
After the install is complete, restart your computer and your driver install will now be complete. You’ll be able to print now.
